Julian is a small town with a big hearted community. In the 1800s it was the place to be for people who were in search of gold! Today, Julian welcomes you with apple pies, history of gold mining and of course, the beautiful outdoors as your elopement location! Julian CA is located in the Laguna Mountains about 9 miles from Lake Cuyamaca. The elevation is 4,200 ft. while the drive to Julian is about a 1 hour and 15 minutes east of San Diego.

South Lake Tahoe

Lake Tahoe is 72 mile trip around the lake in both California and Nevada. The
weather can change depending on the season, summer time is warm and mostly clear, while winters are cold, wet and partly cloudy. Make sure to plan your elopement around weather months. If you want the warm weather for your elopement and activities, months between June to late August is highly recommended.

Glamis Sand Dunes

Weather can rapidly change! Be prepared! If you visit in / during warmer
temperatures, expect those temps to remain high and hot throughout the
day. The sand can reach up to 150 degrees and possible thunderstorms in
the afternoon. Temperatures can go as low as 10 degrees in the winter time
& may experience high winds in the spring. No matter what season, always
expect cooler temperatures in the evening.
(Avoid going between hot hours 12-3pm)
